The Hub for Urban Entrepreneurship (HUE) is a Nashville-based 501(c)3 social enterprise that seeks to inspire, develop and promote entrepreneurship and economic development in underserved and underrepresented communities. HUE envisions a world in which an ecosystem of entrepreneurship fuels the growth and sustainability of urban communities across the globe. The mission of HUE is to inspire, develop and promote entrepreneurship and economic development in underserved and underrepresented communities.
In November 2016, HUE launched the inaugural Black Entrepreneurship Week (BEW), consisting of events that highlight Black businesses in urban communities. HUE is leading the charge to bring recognition to the efforts of urban entrepreneurs and seeks to leverage partnerships in local communities.
